SO AT KUMORICON THERE WAS THE CUTEST COSPLAY. This couple posted on the website that they had recently gotten married and were going to cosplay as Mom and Dad from Homestuck. My friend told me that and we were just freaking out waiting for them to arrive. Word spread so the Homestuck group was just anticipating it all over the place. So next thing we know there’s MOM in perfect cosplay with a picnic table and basket with cider, wine glasses, and a CAKE.We were all freaking out and waiting until DAD came there finally and god they were just cute.
So then after they pull out the cake made with BETTY CROCKER they start asking Rose and John and Dave and Dirk and even Roxy cosplayers to sit down with them, offering cake to just about anyone.
They gave my friend and I a slice, who were Roxy and Jane. It was just so amazing and cute we couldn’t take it.
So let’s just take a moment to appreciate the Homestuck fandom and how heartfelt they can be despite their bizarre humor and crazy shenanigans.
